  11. The ENEWS ( Effectiveness of Naval Electronic Warfare Systems ) program
  12. at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory has recently begun a virtual env-
  13. ironments  project with the goal of simulating  naval warfare scenarios
  14. within virtual space for tactical and strategic evaluation. At present,
  15. our lab consists of two SG VGX machines and several PIs. The work is be-
  16. ing done by two GW graduate students ( I'm one of them ) under the dir-
  17. ection of Dr. Allen Duckworth.

  19. I'll probably have  more to say on what we're  doing as soon  as I find
  20. out myself. Like I mentioned, the  project is very new and our focus of
  21. attention has not yet been determined.

  24. application of virtual worlds, particulary other military labs. Thanks.
